Formulation
Light, yet deliberate
Low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, aloe and glycerin work together to bind and hold moisture where the skin needs it, while Sodium PCA mirrors your skin's own natural moisturizing factor. Nothing surplus — only what the skin recognizes, carried by postbiotic ferments that sit comfortably alongside your barrier.
Evidence
More than our word
Every active here is well understood: hyaluronic acid and glycerin bind water, and Sodium PCA belongs to the skin's natural moisture balance. Postbiotic ferments are widely associated with the skin's barrier, and the ingredient suppliers' own ingredient-level measurements point the same way (supplier testing) — so you needn't take our word alone.

A breath for the skin
What many look for in a face mist is exactly this: noticeable, refreshing hydration and a small pause in the middle of the day. A clean, natural feel that's easy to love — and easy to make a little ritual of your own.
Fits real life
Along for the day
A mist that does more than one thing: freshen skin in the morning, rehydrate over makeup, or revive a tired moment. Easy to keep within reach, easy to reach for — exactly the kind of simplicity a pared-back life has room for.
Packaging
Made in Sweden, with care
Made in Sweden and, as the brand states, made from plant-based ingredients and vegan-friendly. Quiet, honest craft rather than grand claims — something you can feel at ease keeping on the shelf.

01Ingredient spotlight
Four ingredients carry this formula. The rest of the INCI list supports them.
- Sodium Hyaluronate (low-molecular-weight) — chosen because the smaller molecular size binds water within the skin rather than only sitting as a film on top. It works as a humectant that holds water in the outer skin layer. Evidence: a review in EMJ Dermatology links low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid to increased skin hydration and elasticity.
- Glycerin — one of the best-documented humectants there is. It draws water into the stratum corneum and raises its water content. Evidence: the Journal of Cosmetic Science describes glycerin as a humectant that raises stratum corneum water content.
- Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice — forms the base juice of the formula alongside glycerin, a calm hydrating foundation rather than an active headline. It acts as a humectant, holding moisture. Evidence: documented humectant hydration.
- Sodium PCA — occurs naturally in the skin's own Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF). Chosen precisely because it mirrors the skin's own system for retaining water. Evidence: PubMed describes Sodium PCA as part of the skin's Natural Moisturizing Factor that binds water.

03Scientific evidence
The ingredient evidence behind this curation points consistently in one direction: water retention. Low-molecular-weight sodium hyaluronate, glycerin, aloe and Sodium PCA are all documented humectants, and postbiotic ferment lysates can, at a class level, strengthen the skin barrier and lower transepidermal water loss (TEWL).
Beyond the ingredient evidence there is supplier testing: the maker reports that Aquaxyl (the xylitol complex), per supplier Seppic's technical data, reduces TEWL and increases the skin's water reserves. This is supplier-reported, not an independent clinical trial on this specific product. We have not seen a dedicated clinical study on the finished formula, and we make no such claim.
04Our evaluation notes
- Barrier-supportive rather than barrier-demanding — humectants and postbiotic ferments work with the skin, not against it.
- Hydration on several levels: low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, glycerin, aloe and Sodium PCA mirror the skin's own NMF.
- A mist, not an active acid system — easy to slot into a minimalist routine without clashing with other steps.
- The formula leads with hydration and closes with mild skin-friendly actives (Salix Alba, Hamamelis, low lactic acid) rather than strong exfoliants.
- Everyday-usable: works morning and evening, over or under other steps.
05Frequently asked questions
Can I use it alongside retinol or other actives?
Yes. This is fundamentally a hydrating mist without strong exfoliating acids at high levels, so it pairs well as a moisture step before or after retinoids and other actives. Many people use a hydrating mist precisely to ease retinol-related dryness. If your skin is sensitive or you follow a dermatologist's regimen, check with them first.
Is it suitable during pregnancy or perimenopause?
The INCI list is built on humectants (hyaluronic acid, glycerin, aloe, Sodium PCA), pre/pro/postbiotics and mild botanical extracts, with no retinoids or strong acids at high levels. Hydrating products are often used through these phases, when skin can become drier. We don't give medical advice, though — during pregnancy or hormonal change we recommend checking with your midwife, doctor or skin therapist, or contacting the brand.
Does it contain fragrance?
The listed INCI does not include parfum/fragrance. It does contain Mentha Piperita (peppermint) leaf water, which can naturally carry a light scent and naturally occurring fragrance compounds. If you're sensitive to scent or essential oils, patch-test first and read the full pack labelling.
How should I store it, and when is it best used — morning or evening?
A water-based, biotic formula is best kept cool and out of direct sunlight, with the sprayer closed between uses. It works both morning and evening: as a refreshing hydration step after cleansing, before serum or cream, or to revive the skin during the day.
How long does it last once opened?
We don't have a verified shelf-life figure for this specific product, so we won't invent one. Follow the PAO symbol (the open-jar mark, e.g. 6M or 12M) and any best-before date on the pack. Because the formula is water-based and biotic, keep it clean, close it well and use it within the stated period.
What do the pre-, pro- and postbiotic ingredients do?
The formula contains ferments such as Lactococcus Ferment Lysate and Lactobacillus Ferment plus a xylitol complex that supports the skin microbiome. At a class level, postbiotic ferment lysates can strengthen the skin barrier and lower water loss (TEWL). The maker reports that the Aquaxyl complex, per supplier testing, reduces TEWL and increases the skin's water reserves — a supplier-reported claim, not an independent study on the finished product.
